I have decided to use my 'Dare to Wear' challenge to dare all of you to help raise money for this important charity. For every person who takes my dare to wear challenge, I will donate $1 to the Stephen Lewis Foundation. BUT WAIT, it gets better than that, for the first 10 people who take my challenge, my parents will match my $1, for the next ten people (20 people total), my parents will donate $2, for the next ten people (30 people total) my parents will donate an extra $3, and so on. AMAZING RIGHT?
How wonderful and thoughtful is that?! The Stephen Lewis foundation works closely with those who have been affected in some way or another by AIDS and HIV. They provide medical care and treatment, counselling and education about HIV prevention and food and medication. They also support grandmothers who are raising their orphaned grandchildren whose parents have lost their lives to the disease.

This is my look for the challenge! It's the first time i've done something more adventurous lol It's still on the slightly subtle side as I had no clue where to start and secondly there's only so much I can fit in without showing my whole face but I enjoyed it nevertheless :] I mainly tried to focus on the colours..I wanted something that would remind you of Africa as soon as you saw it (I hope I achieved it without sounding like a big'ed!). The reds and browns remind me of mudhuts and sunsets. The shell-ish white on my lids reminded me for some reason of the desert earth when it goes dry and cracks and the dots were obviously the body paint :]

Barry M white eyeliner on lid and blended out
Sleek 'gullible' on inner third of lid (Bad girl palette)
Urban decay maui wowie on the rest of my lid
Urban Decay roach in crease and blended up to brow bown
Sleek 'Morello' in crease and blended up into roach (Good girl palette)
Sleek 'Noir' in outer corner and into slightly into crease (Bad girl palette)
Gullible again to highlight under brow
Barry M white eyeliner on inner corner and for dots
Morello on lower waterline and just below lashes
UD Roach on lashline
No7 exceptional definition mascara
When I'd finished and taken the pictures, I wished I hadn't put the red on my waterline as it seems a bit too much. Perfect example of Coco chanel's saying to take off the last thing you put on lol

This actually looks GOOD! I've seen some entries.. and seeing as the title is "african", I think people over did it (my hubby thought one of them was taking the pee out of africans lool).
But u added eyeshadow which is great, the red on your waterline looks fine too, well done!
